Candice Dunlap Miller
Fiber Artist
Candice Miller is a fiber artist from Virginia. In the 10+ years she's been crocheting (and knitting and sewing), she has built a name for herself by translating pop culture into yarn via color-work, accessories, and cosplay. She taught herself to crochet to cope with the stress of needing a thyroidectomy, and her hobby grew into a creative outlet she shares with the world. Candice loves making unexpected things with yarn, and even though she’s most well-known for her crocheted Ahsoka Tano cosplays, she sometimes makes more traditional yarn-things if they’re fun and challenging. She recently acquired 2 vintage flatbed knitting machines and has been coming up with ways to incorporate them into her work, as well as attempting to sync them with modern technology. When she’s not looking for her next creative endeavor, she can be found hanging out with her husband and 3 pugs.
