Starting with a combination of several free vest patterns, I made the vest then designed the Hawkeye ("Hawkguy" in the comics lol) design for the front so it looked like his costume.
I used a paper printout of a hawkeye logo to ensure I got the proportions right, then just cut it to the size I needed. Doing duplicate stitch on top of the vest made life easier but was still kind of fussy due to the super thick yarn.
