Murder, She Wrote Sweater

Heavily modified version of the "Angler's Pride" pattern by Mary Maxim

Inspired by the cardigan Angela Lansbury wears in episode 3 of Murder, She Wrote. I decided to tackle this vintage pattern and it took...a while. From finding the right yarn (the original was long discontinued) to learning intarsia and fair isle colorwork...so many new techniques.

* It's only in the past decade that I'd discovered the show on Amazon, and recently bought the DVDs to have them ready whenever I feel like watching them. I grew up on Nancy Drew books, I don't know how I missed this show while it was airing even in re-reruns. It's a classic and so many actors got their start on it!

** I don't even fish. I just needed to make this sweater. :)
