Creepy Halloween cartoon? Check. Creepy Pumpkin cult leader? Check. Creepy sweater with his face and dangly tendrils that represent his "arms"? Also check.
I used a free pattern from Yarnspirations for the base of this sweater, but changed it to 2 colors instead of 1. (what was I thinking?!) I learned a lot of new techniques for this design, from a new cast on to finishing off the tendrils using my newly acquired knitting machine.
This specific "free" pattern was actually TWO patterns. And they each had numerous different errors. I got so confused and frustrated at one point I almost just undid the whole thing. But I powered through and got the result I wanted.
